How many meter square space need to set up a Upvc or aluminium workshop?

It is up to size of your business but for minimum size of workshop, you need 100-150 meters square space to set up UPVC or aluminum workshop with single headed machinery. For workshop with double headed machinery, you need 150-250 meters square space. For more information please contact us.

How many machines do I need to set up UPVC window workshop?
To produce UPVC windows and doors, you need to follow seven production steps.
·         Profile cutting
·         Glazing bead cutting
·         Welding profiles
·         Copy routing
·         End milling
·         Water slot
·         Corner cleaning
·         Reinforcement cutting
Every step needs one machine to do that process and these machines are; profile cutting machine, glazing bead saw, welding machine, copy router with water slot, end milling machine, corner cleaning machine and reinforcement cutting machine but also some machines can do multi-process and  You cand do some steps like cleaning and water slot with hand tools .

Can we use hand tools instead of some machines?
Yes, you can do some process by hand tools but it reduces your Workshop capacity. For example  corner cleaning, copy routing, water slot and reinforcement cutting.

How many windows can I produce per a day ?

It depends on your machines and workers , you can produce 10-15 windows per a day with one set single headed Upvc window and doors machine and four workers and 8 hours working depends on worker skills.

With double headed Upvc machines and 5 workers you can produce 25-30 UPVC window or doors per 8 houres.

You can start with only 2 workers for one set single head upvc machine . ofcourse one of them should be expert. for maximum capacity you need 4-5 workers.

How much budget do I need to set up a workshop with one headed UPVC window and doors machines?
 
For standard one head UPVC window machines you need about 25000-30000 Usd (depends on your area) to set up your workshop as below
1-      17000 – 20000 for UPVC window machines ( depends on your area , transport & custom taxes are included).
2-      2000 – 3000 USD for compressor and other equipments.
3-      6000-7000 USD for profile and accessories.

Is the machinery for UPVC window suitable for all kind of UPVC profiles?

You can use UPVC window Machines for most of upvc profiles.

just you should change knives for Cleanning machine and End milling machine.

But there are some special profiles like composite profiles from Wood & UPVC or Aluminum & PVC or Wood & Aluminum , For these profiles is necessary to make some changes in cutting machine and Welding machine and also Cleanning machine. What is Insulated Glass?

Windows made of insulated glass have something other than a single pane of glass separating one side of the window from the other. They are considered essential in any serious effort to make a home or building as energy efficient as possible. There are a number of different strategies used for insulated glass in order to make it as effective as possible.

In addition to the energy savings and comfortable temperatures, insulated glass offers a number of other benefits as well. For example, insulated glass often cuts down on the amount of noise from outside. Second, the units are better guards against dust and pollen.

The most common types of insulated glass are those with multiple panes. Most insulated glass units are double-paned units, though some are triple-paned. Again, windows with double panes are the most likely to be the ones chosen by most people in most environments.

Most insulated glass windows with multiple panes have little in between those panes but air. However, choosing windows that have argon or krypton gas in between the panes can offer another level of protection. These gases help reduce convection currents between the panes and thus help slow any air transfer between the inside and outside. Both of these gases are non-toxic, so there is no need to worry should a window break. Some insulated glass may also be coated with a specialized coating which helps reflect the sun’s rays in the summer months.

For those who cannot afford to purchase insulated glass, there are other options as well. Choosing a plastic window covering during the winter months will help keep cold air penetration from taking place so quickly and will act much like insulating glass units. Also, using heavier drapes can cut down on the drafts created by inefficient windows tremendously.

What is Insulating glass spacer?
Insulating glass unit or double glazed unit is one of the most common types of glass used today for building applications. Due to its excellent thermal and acoustic properties it has almost completely replaced basic monolithic windows. One of the important elements of a double glazed unit is the spacer. 

 
The most common insulating glass units are composed of two pieces of glass and a hollow aluminum spacer around the edge of the piece of insulating glass. The hollow spacer has silica poured into it to act as a moisture-removing agent from the spacer between the pieces of glass. The problem with aluminum spacers is that aluminum is an excellent thermal transfer agent, which means that it permits the outside cold temperatures to reach the inside of the insulating glass unit. To prevent thermal loss caused by conventional aluminum spacers in insulating glass units, more and more consumers are demanding low-conductivity materials to separate panes of glass. The answer to this problem was a so-called ?warm edge? spacer. Warm-edge refers to the type of spacer material used to separate the panes of glass (or glazing) in an insulated window unit. If the material conducts less heat or cold than a conventional aluminum spacer at the edge of the glass, it is said to be ?warm-edge.? Most of these newer spacers are less conductive and outperform pure aluminum. Warm edge spacers improve thermal performance of windows, reduce condensation and, with the appropriate machinery, permit faster and easier assembling of insulating glass units. The biggest problem of this type of spacer is still the price as it is more expensive that conventional aluminum spacer.
